JREM is set up in the client's computer, whereby it does not require an internet connection to operate.

JREM is integrated with SMS and telegram for sending notifications and receiving tenant feedback, and also M-Pesa for remote rent payments by tenants.

JREM does not require internet for normal operations like receipting, invoicing, and reporting. You only require internet for the integrated Communication and Payment services.

However, you require an internet connection to send SMS or telegram notifications or receive tenant feedback, and also to access information on payments by M-Pesa if you have integrated your Paybill Number with JREM.
